In a conference on the family of a Catholic association, were read a few prayer intentions.
I popoli non manifestano per il solo gusto but to do so as a result of situations ranging from the mortification of freedom, the true tyranny.
The right prayer should be directed against those responsible for the causes from which they originate civil conflict.
The heart of people looking for love and peace for themselves. That same heart but not indefinitely tolerate the injustice and oppression. When the latter did not reach levels more bearable, take the protest. But this is just the answer to a civil war already begun, to which people respond in droves.
came to my mind the words of the teacher of a course on "Problem Solving", saying that solving a problem meant perloppiù the causes. In the case of civil conflict they are always very close to the most elementary needs of human life: water, food, work, opportunity to live in dignity and freedom.
Here's the recipe for the solution of real conflicts that drag on for decades could be a greater effort of the world's wealthiest citizens to help the lives of those less fortunate. This would help much more than a thousand new negotiating tables. A few days ago I felt the radio that this was a way to permanently resolve the conflict in Northern Ireland.
I think he's coming for the people of the world's time to engage effectively uniting in harmony and peace their common home. Governments are doing very little in this regard. For example, no Western country would ever think of doing anything concrete to really bring freedom and democracy in countries that are free. Perhaps this is a task facing other forms of aggregation of people, such as movement or non-governmental organizations. Certainly this is a task that surely awaits each of us. Without this personal commitment, would be difficult to earn a national calendar of this world that entertains us .
