Today it's time to rebuild, to commit to a new horizon. So we decided to ask the younger generation and who spends a Republic "other" to make us an analysis of the situation of San Marino and possible solutions. Read about dreams and resentments, hopes and ideas concrete. These energies, these states of mind, must be the first step of a "common front" to redesign San Marino from the bottom. Gone are the days of economic powers, the Masonic lodges and mafias. Against abuses of power and bullying in the history of San Marino has always won. We believe there are conditions to win this time and give continuity to our Republic.

-Why do you think is necessary to commit to a new policy?
The economic crisis that is tearing the Western countries has brought a wave of change unthinkable only a few years ago. Europe and Italy as a result, have tightened a noose around the necks of the countries with preferential taxation as San Marino, who now see their agony the goose that laid golden eggs. The economic system in recent decades has brought wealth to the Titan, now suddenly became obsolete and incompatible with the new logic. The new policy of San Marino should be able to meet this new challenge, starting from a deep structural reforms able to start a new sustainable economy and adapted to the modern world. To act otherwise is to isolate the country. Let us remember that the margins of deterioration, the Titan, are unfortunately still very large.
-Who do you think the responsibility lies with the current state of affairs?
There are serious liability, especially those who have enabled organized crime to enter the country must pay. As regards the general situation, however, is too easy to blame others. The truth is that the "old" welfare system brought a rapid, widespread and above all easy. Impossible to achieve under normal conditions. This is now a real social problem. It becomes very difficult, in fact, going to explain to citizens until yesterday spoiled and pampered, that the free ride is over, and that we must roll up our sleeves and work hard to keep the ship afloat. The potential of San Marino are enormous. But it is necessary to exploit a common effort.
-How do you imagine a new politics?
I imagine a policy in line with what is the history of San Marino. Democracy means the Republic and Democracy is people power. The Republic of San Marino does not need great statesmen to be governed well. We need people with good ideas and the desire to join a small community in order to achieve a common goal and have a strong sense of community. Politics should not overdo it né sviluppare un’eccessiva ingerenza. Il suo compito deve limitarsi a mettere il Paese nella condizione di esprimersi al meglio, controllandone le storture l’indirizzo.
-Qual è l’obiettivo principale che vi proponete?
Creare i presupposti per veder nascere una «nuova San Marino». Un paese “ all'avanguardia” in tutti i campi. Che fa delle sue ridotte dimensioni e della sua indipendenza una forza Maiuscola. Una politica che parla di territorio, di investimenti e di persone. Troppo spesso, la nostra classe dirigente dimentica che San Marino non è un piccolo Paese dentro all'Italia, ma una proud independent republic in central Europe. -What do you suggest?
The economic system of San Marino does not exist. It is an invention. A true local economy should be developed from a few main points and important experience of local realities that are already established at the international level. First, then, the new policy should be established. A line must necessarily be guided by excellence. A small state to have the opportunity to emerge must increase the number of its activities of excellence, so you can compare with the European markets in terms of quality. To achieve this, however, takes time and investment. Today, it becomes essential to create a center of attraction for new businesses and, simultaneously, to develop a new entrepreneurial class daughter of the territory. We must lay the groundwork for the "San Marino in the future." A country that could have very high standards of production and services. A country to be proud of.
